A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Thibodaux Funeral Home for Glisson Leonce "Cat" Simoneaux, 70, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Labadieville, who died Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 5-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He was the husband of Cecile Benoit Simoneaux; father of Patricia Gonzales, Sue Morvant, Debra Ordoyne, Sandra Chiasson, Janus Naquin and Karen Simoneaux; brother of Delores Daigle. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dozilia P. and Evella Oufnac Simoneaux; sisters, Elda Simoneaux and Emelda Cedatol; brothers, Alex, Abner, Joe, Haley, Augustini and Everett Simoneaux.
