George Ware was born on March 10, 1855 in Lewis, Virginia, United States, son of William Harvey Ware (~1804–1875) and Susannah Simons (1811–1870).[1]
George married Sarah Alice Lambert (born on August 1, 1867 in Gilmer, West Virginia; daughter of Jacob Lambert and Margaret Ellen Kaner). Their daughter was Retha Belle Ware (1908–1984).
