George Ware was born on March 10, 1855 in Lewis, Virginia, United States, son of William Harvey Ware (~1804–1875) and Susannah Simons (1811–1870).[1]
George married Sarah Alice Lambert (born on August 1, 1867 in Gilmer, West Virginia; daughter of Jacob Lambert and Margaret Ellen Kaner). Their daughter was Retha Belle Ware (1908–1984).

George (22) married Sarah E. Rexroad (15) (born about 1862 in Ritchie, Virginia; daughter of Lewis Rexroad and Mary (Mullenax) Rexroad) in 1878 in Lewis.
George died on January 9, 1933 in Braxton, West Virginia, United States, aged 77.[4]
