Biography

Richard was born in Shearsby, Leicestershire, England and was baptised there on 20 September 1812, the son of Richard and Alice Simons ^[1]. He served the community of Shearsby as Parish Clerk ^[2].

He married Rebecca Weston on 6 Jul 1835 in Shearsby ^[3]. Their children were:
