Biography
Maren Kirstine Simonsdatter was born in Norway
Maren Kirstine was born in 1772 at Trosby, Bamble.[1] She was the daughter of Simon Sørensen Trosby and Sophie Marie Hansdatter Høen.[1]
She was confirmed on 30 September 1787 in Bamble.[2]
She married Niels Andersen Linna (son of Anders Olsen Linna and Ingeborg Kjeldsdatter) on 28 May 1797 in Bamble.[3]
In the 1801 census at Utgaarden, Bamble, Maren Kirstine Simensdatter, 29 years old, is in her first marriage to Niels Andersen Linne.[4]
She married Lars Torstensen Rugtvet (son of Torsten Larsen Rugtvet and Aavet Hansdatter Aannerød) on 5 October 1827 in Bamble.[5]
One child is known:
- Simon Andreas Nielsen, born on 10 June 1814.[6]
