I am seeking the names and appropriate dates for the father and mother of Thomas Ellis who was
born in Wales in 1683 and was married to Jane Hughes (Hugh) in 1712.
I welcome your help in completing my heritage thread at WikiTree.
Thomas Ellis 27 May 1683 Merionethshire, Wales - 11 Jun 1760 Privacy Level: Open (White) Ellis-3263
Thanks,
Daniel Armand Ellis
I havent heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
PROPER USE OF DATA FIELDS FOR MEDIEVAL AND EARLIER PROFILES:
6. LAST NAME AT BIRTH
PREFIXES IN LAST NAME AT BIRTH FIELD:
b. The common de, du, le, ... before a surname does not go in the LNAB field; it goes with the surname in the Current Last Name field while the surname, ONE word, goes in the LNAB. Example: Last name at birth: "Villefort", Current Last Name: "de Villefort".
Please edit John's LNAB to follow the proper use of data fields for medieval profiles.
Im the new Project Coordinator for the England Project. I am contacting you, as there have been some recent changes to the project which we are keen to bring to your attention. Please look at the England Project page for more information on the changes and the ways members are able to actively contribute moving forward. Once you have considered how you would like to participate, please contact either myself or Susie to let us know. We can then list your involvement, help you join the Google group forum for England, and give you any other help you may need to get going. If we dont hear back from you well assume you do not wish to be a part of the England Project for the time being. We really hope you will join the team!

Hi Gordon - For Walter Tunneshende, I'll approve once the parent merges are completed. Not much I can do until then, as the parents have to match first.
It was not a problem helping you with the profile of Thomas Haville and Thomas Haywell and proposing the merge. I opened the privacy for Thomas Haywell-3
but got the message the profile was being merged by some one else. Will check back tomorrow and if it has not been merged I will complete the merge and clean up the profile.

I proposed the merge of De Aske-3 and Aske-8, with the request "Please merge into Aske-8".
You merged them into John De Aske because it's "consistent with father's LNAB". However, this is contrary to Help:Name Fields for European Aristocrats which says:
PROPER USE OF DATA FIELDS FOR MEDIEVAL AND EARLIER PROFILES:
Please edit John's LNAB to follow the proper use of data fields for medieval profiles.
Thanks
