Benjamin Simpson/ Simson was born on December 25, 1754, in Groton, Massachusetts Bay. He married 1st Experience Curtis Shattuck on 13 Aug 1772, in 13 Aug 1772 who died at giving child birth, than married 2nd to Sarah Shattuck on March 28, 1781, in Boston, Massachusetts. They had eight children in 22 years. He died in September 1839 in Winslow, Maine, having lived a long life of 84 years, and was buried in Waterville, Maine.
