Biography

Family

The Simpson family was a large non-conformist family based in Nottinghamshire. Mary's parents, Edward Simpson and Elizabeth Folds, were married on 29 Jul 1756 at St. Nicholas in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.[1]

Mary was born c. 1766 to Edward and Elizabeth, and was christened on 30 May 1766 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.

Siblings

Mary was one of six children - four daughters and two sons - born to Edward and Elizabeth, of whom four survived to adulthood; sadly, Mary was not one of the surviving children.

Death

Mary Simpson died young.

Mary died c. 1769 at the tender age of three, and was buried on 19 Nov 1769 in Radford, Nottinghamshire. She was the first child to precede her parents in death.
