Biography

When Richard Simpson was born on 16 December 1714, in St George's Parish, Baltimore, Maryland his father, Thomas Simpson, was 24 and his mother, Eleanor Smith, was 16.

He married Elizabeth Reese in 1736, in Orange, North Carolina, British Colonial America.

They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters.
