Ursula was born in 1717 & baptised 14 February 1717, Hampsthwaite St. Thomas of Canterbury, Yorkshire the daughter of Peter Simpson.^{[1] [2]}

The marriage of William Ward & Ursula Simson was conducted on 22 June 1738, Little Ouseburn, Holy Trinity, Yorkshire ^[3]

She died in 1797 & buried 30 September 1797, Fewston, St. Michael, Yorkshire.^[4]
