Biography

Daughter of Thomas Sims and Arianah (Dawkins) Sims, Mary was born in South Carolina around 1879. The family soon moved to Big Smiths, Georgia, in Franklin County, just across the state line from northern South Carolina. Her father was a farmer.[1] She died in 1979, in Gadsden, Alabama.[2]
