In the 1860 US Census she was in the household of her Mother, listed as being 14 years old. She married James Henry Beasley 13 January 1870, Fayette County, Alabama, United States. In the 1870 Census she is in the household with her husband, listed as being 21 years old. In 1880 US Census she is with her husband and 5 children, 32 years old. According to the 1900 US Census she was widowed having had 8 children with 5 still living, 3 in the household with her. In 1910 and 1920 she was in the household of her daughter. According to her Application with Indian Affairs, Rec. Mar. 30, 1907, she stated that her name was Emely Masoury Beasley it is spelled Emely M. Beasley, Emily M Beasley, Emaly Mosoury Beasley, Emily Masoury Beasley and Emly Masoura Beasley in this Application. She said her address was R. F. D. # 2, Fayette, Alabama. She also stated that she was born about 1842 in Lamar County, Alabama. She stated that her husband was dead. She gave information on her parents and her grandparents. She passed away Sep 1920 (aged 71) Marion County, Alabama, USA. [1]
