Biography

Mark Sims was born in 1764 in Wake County, North Carolina, a son of Joel Sims and Christiana Mays. He married Mary Embry/Embrough (1764-1822) on 12 December 1784 in Wake, North Carolina; they had one noted son. [1] Mark died in July 1819 in Oglethorpe, Georgia; burial details unknown.
