Biography
Beatrice Sinclair was the daughter of Henry Sinclair, 2nd Earl of Orkney and Egidia Douglas.[1][2] Some say she was born in the 1390's.[citation needed]
She married James Douglas, 7th Earl of Douglas, son of Archibald Douglas, 3rd Earl of Douglas and Joan Moray, before 7 March 1425/26.[1]
As a result of her marriage, Beatrice Sinclair was styled as Countess of Avondale in 1437 and was styled as Countess of Douglas on 24 November 1440.
In June 1455 she was attainted.[1] She died before 8 February 1462/63 in England.[1]

This person is the same as Sinclair-87. She is a daughter of the Henry Sinclair 2nd Earl of Orkney, not the first. Needs detaching from the 1st and merging.
I have detached her from the 1st Earl of Orkney as well as the incorrect husband, William Borthwick. I believe she is now ready for a correct merge with Sinclair-87. Would you take a quick look to be sure I haven't missed anything?
The lady who married Sir William Borthwick is NOT a daughter of Henry, Earl of Orkney. Moreover their marriage licence entry in the Vatican Registers is "Sanct Claro" meaning St. Clair, not Sinclair, which is a corruption. It is thought she was a daughter of Sir John St. Clair, Knt., of the Herdmanstoun family. ancestry.com is not a reliable source.
