Abigail Sinclair was born on March 24, 1798 in Vassalboro, Kennebec, Maine.^[1] She was a daughter of Joshua Sinclair and Abigail Pattee.

Abigail married Thomas Bagley on December 28, 1818 in Troy, Maine. They had four children together:

3. Harriet- b. Nov 1825 - d. 22 Apr 1892, m. John Gordon
