Calvin D Sinclair was born on December 11, 1833 in Unity, Waldo, Maine. He was a son of Joshua Sinclair and Sevilla Jackson.[1] In 1850, he lived with his mother and sister in Racine, Wisconsin.[2]
Calvin married Martha Ann Mitchell on September 27, 1866 in Racine, Wisconsin.[3] In 1870, they had one child and his sister living with them in Racine.[4] In 1880, he was a wagon manufacturer and they had three servants living with them.[5] Through 1900, the family lived in Racine, Wisconsin and Calvin continued to be a wagon manufacturer. They had a coachman and a cook living with them.[6] They had the following children:
