Biography

Herbert Henry James was born on the 26th March 1887^[1][2] at St. Peter, Southwark, Surrey, England. He was the son of Michael Herbert Sinclair and Eleanor Sinclair.

In 1906, Herbert Henry James and his brother Walter George emigrated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, aboard the "Pomeranian"^[3]

Herbert Henry James married Grace Helen by 1921, when they were living in Kootenay West, British Columbia^[4]

In 1931, Herbert Henry James and his wife Grace Helen and children were living at Red Deer, British Columbia, Canada. Also living with the was a domestic servant, Olive May Coram, who Herbert Henry James supposedly married the following year (it is assumed that Herbert Henry James and Grace Helen divorced).

Herbert Henry James passed away on the 27th May 1940 at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.^[1] and was buried at Carman Cemetery, Chilliwack, Fraser Valley Regional District, British Columbia, Canada^[5]
