John was born 6 July 1686 in Haverhill, Massachusetts to Benjamin Singletary and Mary Stockbridge.
He married Sarah Warnock in 1750 and they had 5 children:
John Hayes
Sarah Margaret married Samuel Wells and William Bennett
Mary (1766-1792) married Williams Capers 10 September 1783.
Anna (1768- ) married Reverend Beverly Allen February 1786.
Thomasin born and died 8 December 1773 in St. Thomas & St. Denis Parish, South Carolina.
Could find no evidence of his death, but he does not seem to appear n the 1790 census.
