Biography

Hannah's name is given as Hannah Jane Singley in a 1853 Westmoreland County deposition given by her brother George, naming the heirs of their father Peter C. Singley.[1]

Hannah was born in 1832 and married Andrew Guler in 1855 (per 1900 census) as his second wife. She appears with family in the 1860 census as follows: Andrew Guyler, 34; Hannah, 27; Mary, 14; Caleb, 11; James C., 5; William, 2; Aurala, 2/12. She appears in the 1870, 1880, and 1900 census in Belle Vernon, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.

Hannah's name is given as Hannah Guler in the 1874 will of her mother Matilda Singley (probated in 1877).[2]
