Biography

He registered for World War I in LaPorte County, Indiana. He lived in Michigan City and was a machinist. He was of medium height and build, with brown eyes and brown hair.

He lived in Michigan City when he registered for World War II. He was employed by Gardex Manufacturing.

In 1930 he and his wife, Loretta (age 21) and their son and daughter lived in Michigan City. They had been married about 4 years. He owned his home and was am machinist with a mining manufacturer.

The family lived in Cool Spring Township, LaPorte County, in 1935 and 1940. In 1940 he was a laborer with a mining manufacturer. He had completed 8th grade. The family included Loretta and two sons and 2 daughters.
