Note: Owen's birth record states that he was born 16 Feb 1906. Normally, that would be the confirmed date that should be used. However, that date is almost exactly 9 months after his sisters Ida & Zoda (twins) were born: 27 May 1905... And the record is a typed copy of the original, so an error is possible. His death certificate gives a birth date of 16 Feb 1907, which is far more likely. His next younger sibling was born 14 Apr 1909, also an indicator that the correct spacing places Owen's birth in 1907... [3]
Note: no obvious reason why there are two different marriage records. Owen & Erma had two children listed in the 1930 census, & the family was living with Erma's adoptive father. Interestingly, the second marriage lists Erma as Miss Erma Barker... [3]
End Reason: divorce
End Date: from 1932 to Apr 1940
Note: they definitely divorced before Owen died; he is listed as single on his death certificate, & Erma had already married John Fields at the time of the 1940 census... [3]

Note: Owen is not listed in the 1940 census; but he should be, since it was taken in April 1940. However, since he was a truck driver, he probably was not home when the enumerator stopped at the house (assuming that he was living alone)... Owen's father Samuel gave the authorities the information on his death certificate, which lists his current residence as Spencer... [3]
