Biography

Letha Eleanor Sipe was born on September 4, 1868 in Alton Township, Buchanan, Iowa, United States.

In 1880, Letha was living in household of Eli Sipe (32) in Cass Township, Guthrie, United States. Born in Iowa.^[1]

Letha (15) married Josiah Henry Slaybaugh (27) (born on December 12, 1856 in Iowa; son of John Alexander Slaybaugh and Margaret A. (Carrick) Slaybaugh) on January 2, 1884 in Guthrie.^[2] Their children were:

• Orville Earl Slaybaugh (1886–1986)
• Don Leslie Slaybaugh (1893–1987)
• Lynn Abraham Slaybaugh (1899–1989)

In 1900, Letha was living in household of J H Slagbaugh (44) in Victory Township, Guthrie, Iowa.^[3]

In 1910, Letha was living in household of Joseph Slaybough (53) in Victory, Guthrie.^[4]

In 1920, Letha was living in household of Joe Slaybaugh (64) in Dodge Township, Union, Iowa.^[5]

In 1930, Letha was living in household of Josiah Slaybaugh (73) in Dodge, Union.^[6]

Letha died on November 12, 1962 in Creston, Union, aged 94. She was buried in Moon Cemetery,^[7] Grand River Township, Madison County, Iowa.
