Gabriel and Elizabeth's granddaughter, Marguerite Sisk has in her collection, a prayer book, titled The CHILD'S BOOK on REPENTANCE; Designed also FOR OLDER PERSONS. It is "By Rev. T. H Gallaudent, Late principal of the American Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb" It was published by the AMERICAN TRACT SOCIETY, 150 Nassau-Street, New-York (1834). There are hand written notes and dates on several pages in a variety of different hand writing styles. Some of the names and dates found in this book are:

• Gabriel Marion Sisk was baptised March the 19, 1854.
• Elizabeth Ayers July the 7th 1851.
• Gabriel Marion Sisk was born July the 1, 1832.
• Elizabeth Francis (Ayers crossed out) Sisk was born August the 2, 1831.
• Gabriel Marion Sisk and Elizabeth Francis was married January the 26, 1854.
• John Marion Sisk was born November 18, 1854.
• Henry Gabriel Moses Sisk was born December the 20, 1855.
• Hannah Dorinda (?) Sisk was born April 15, 1858.
• Elizabeth Asdin Sisk was born July the 12 1862.
• Orpha Sisk was born Jan. 12, 1871.
• There is some writing so faint that it is unreadable but the date "July the 29, 1885" is identifiably.
• One page simply had the name "Francis Sisk." It was common in those days for both males and females to spell Francis the same way.
