Biography

Andrew Sisk was born about 1800 in North Carolina, United States.

He married Polly Woolridge on 10 June 1823 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. [1].

Note there was at least one other Andrew Sisk living in Hopkins County Kentucky during this time period. Per the attached marriage listing another Andrew Sisk (born in 1790) married Polly Littlepage on 24 April 1820 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.

They were the parents of at least five children:

  1. Mary, born about 1835 in Kentucky (probably Hopkins County, Kentucky)
  2. Absolom L, born about 1843 in Pope County, Illinois
  3. George W, born about 1845 in Pope County, Illinois
  4. Isaac, born 1848 in Pope County, Illinois
  5. Newton, born 1849 in Pope County, Illinois
