Rev. George H. Siver, was born in Herkimer County, N.Y., Jan. 6, 1814, and married Eliza Ostrander, Sept. 22, 1834. He served for many years as a licensed preacher in connection with the Diana church of the Jefferson Quarterly Meeting (N.Y.) and about 1870 received ordination, his subsequent ministry being with the Pitcairn church.[5]
