Michele Riley, DNA studies have shown that John Sizemore had a Sizemore male for a father. It is suggested that either John's mother Rhoda was not a genetic Sizemore or she had a child by a close relative. Click the Changes tab for the details of edits by Michele and others.
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with John:
In a similar fashion to John's brother Russell Sizemore, I am showing John's father as unknown and Rhoda's maiden name as unknown. This is because to my knowledge, we are not 100% sure that Rhoda is a Sizemore daughter. To fuel the speculation, John Sizemore tested as a male line Sizemore American Indian (Haplogroup Q) but it appears his Sizemores are not close matches to the better known and more prolific George "All" Sizemore.
This leaves us with at least two possibilities:
Rhoda was a Mrs Sizemore or Rhoda was a Sizemore daughter who had a child by another Sizemore.
