Virginia made a claim on the Eastern Cherokee applications around 1908. (ECA # 9042). She said she lived in Baughn, Nicholas Co, WV, and was born in 1836 in Tazewell Co, VA, now WV, was the daughter of George J. Sizemore and Ginnie Baldwin, and wife of Moses C. Cline. She said her father died 1877 and her mother ca. 1887 and that her grandparents were George and Elizabeth Sizemore, and John and Virginia Baldwin. She listed the children of her grandparents as Lydia, Sarah Ann, Edward (Ned), Elizabeth, Owen, and George J. Sizemore. She wrote, "My father was George J. Sizemore, son of George Sizemore, son of Ned Sizemore."
