Biography
Karin Olofsdotter Skägg was born at the Maråker foundry in 1790 to the blacksmith Olof Ersson Skägg and his wife Kerstin Ersdotter Utter.[1][2]
She was married to the charcoal maker Nils Ersson Brodin in 1816[3] and moved to Sunnäs. They had five daughters and one son. Karin died in Sunnäs in 1859, at the age of 69 years.[4]
