Biography
When John SKEEN and his twin brother James were born on April 11, 1764, in Augusta County, Virginia, their father, John, was 30 and their mother, Ingabo, was 34. He married Hem Catherine WHITE on January 16, 1787, in Shenandoah County, Virginia. They had eight children in 14 years. He died on August 24, 1836, in Jefferson City, Tennessee, at the age of 72, and was buried in Jefferson County, Tennessee.
