Biography

Robert was born about 1635, the son of Thomas Skene of Potterton and Sarah Leask. He married Janet Jaffray and they were the parents of George of Rubislaw (1666), Janet (1665), who married George Gordon, son of Alexander Gordon, Provost of Aberdeen, and John (1774). All of the children were christened at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen.
