Biography
Samuel was born at Armidale in 1859. He is the son of William Skewes and Elizabeth Northey. [1]
He married Sarah Pennell in Inverell in 1885.[2][3]
They had 12 children.
He passed away at Tamworth in 1951.[4][5]
He was buried at Bendemeer General Cemetery.[6]
An extensive obituary appeared in the Uralla Times in August 1951[7]
