Biography

James was born in 1871. He was a Prohibition-era moonshiner and as a result, occasionally spent time in the penitentiary. You can witness that on the 1920 US federal census where he is listed as an inmate in Joliet State Penitentiary. He was shot to death in 1932 [1]. ^[1]
