Maria was born 3 Jun 1806 in Middletown Springs, Vermont. She was the daughter of Zeri Skinner and Bette Newland.

Marriage

Maria married Joseph Wilson 5 October 1840 at Richmond, Ontario County, New York. Maria and Joseph relocated to Ingham County, Michigan.

"Some online genealogies also show and additional daughter Maria J. Wilson (b. 1828, wife of Christian Oberschmidt/Oversmith. But she appears to be the daughter of a different Joseph Wilson, married to a Betsey, and buried in Barry County, Michigan.
