Biography
Harry Skinner was born about 1816 at England. His parents were Thomas Skinner & Martha (née Drive) Skinner.
Harry Skinner was one of 290 convicts transported on the ship "Earl Grey" on 27 July 1838. Harry was convicted of stealing at Kent Assizes. He arrived in New South Wales on 21 November 1838. The "Earl Grey" was built at Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1835. 571 tons. The ship made 4 voyages to Australia transporting convicts, in 1836,1838,1849. [1]
