Biography

Sarah Jane Skinner was the first known child of William Skinner and Matilda (Reynolds) Skinner.[1][2]

Birth

She was born in Kingswinford, Staffordshire, England and was baptised 20 August 1848 at the Parish Church of St Mary, Kingswinford.[1][3]

Marriage

Sarah Jane Skinner and John Martin Tierney were married between April and June 1871 in the registration district of Dudley (Staffordshire and Worcestershire), England.[4] He died in 1888.[5]

Sarah Jane Tierney and Thomas White were married between October and December 1892 in the registration district of Stourbridge (Staffordshire and Worcestershire), England.[6]

  • 1861 at Attwoods Barn, Hill, Halesowen, Worcestershire.[7]

  • 1901 to 1911 (with husband Thomas White) at Grangers Lane, Rowley Regis.[10][11]
  • 1929 at Corngreaves Road, Cradley Heath, Staffordshire.[12]

Occupation

In 1891 she was a Laundress.[9]

Death

Sarah Jane White died 7 May 1929 at Cradley Heath, Staffordshire, England.[12] She was 80 years of age.[13]

Grant of Probate was made 27 July 1929 to her sister Rachel Skinner.[12]
