William de Skipwith, who married Margaret, daughter of Ralph Fitz-Simon, lord of Ormsby in Lincolnshire, and sister and sole heir of Simon Fitz-Ralph, whereby this family became possessed of that inheritance, which was possessed by Sir Ralph Fitz-Simon, Knt. temp Henry III, who was in several charters nambed Nobilis and had obtained that manor by his wife, the daughter and heir__ Ormesby of Ormsby and had three sons.
