Embarkation Roll:
August 1916

Embarked Fremantle 7 August 1916 per A28 HMAT Miltiades.
While in France he was reported missing on 11 April 1917 and later confirmed as a prisoner of the Germans.
His brief note from the POW camp to his mother that he was short of food and clothing is on file.
RTA 3 March 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM.

Online death records have his age as 79 and list his parents.

Harry is interred in Fremantle Cemetery, Palmyra, Melville City, Western Australia, Australia. Crematorium E-0012.[3]
