Skomra-2 and Skomra-29 appear to represent the same person because: I think the tree could get messy if I add you to the trusted list without first merging the Unlisted Profile I already had for you.

If you end up taking another DNA test, I would take the Ancestry test first. FTDNA was fun and I'm glad I did it, but FTDNA doesn't have as many matches as Ancestry and there are very few close Y matches for our line. I could send you their names if you are interested, though its mostly for trivia, I don't think they are of any genealogical use at the moment.

I haven't looked into the National Geographic test, but I would be interested in the results.

Thank you for volunteering. You are now a full member of WikiTree.

Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:

Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.

To Volunteer just add any surnames of interest into Tags so that you have one tag for each surname and location. By doing that, when you are confirmed as a full member you can then click on those tags, and you'll be taken to a page where you'll see other genealogists who are also following those surnames and locations. I really encourage you to explore the connections it helps you make. :-)

Don't forget to Check the Volunteer Box

Also Note There is a button to click at the bottom of the page that says Add tags and Volunteer. It is rectangular.

When you have done that one of our Greeters will confirm you as a full member so that you can Edit your Profile and enter information into WikiTree.
