Barbara was baptised on 1 January 1792 at Sheen, Staffordshire, the daughter of James and Barbara Slack.[1]
She married John Cock on 29 March 1830 at Longnor, Staffordshire. Married by banns, both of that parish, bachelor and spinster, both marked. Witnesses were Martha Mellor and Mary Ann Bradbury.[2] They had a daughter Betty born the following year.[3]
Barbara died in 1866 and was buried at Longnor on 21 July 1866.[4]
