David was born about 1709, estimated from first known child.
Between 1734 and 1757 he had at least seven children, most baptised as "of David and Jane Slack of Knotbury".[1]
In 1748 David was the executor of his father's will.[2]
He died in 1765 and was buried at Quarnford, Staffordshire, on 16 February 1765 "David Slack of Red:Lache Green" (probably Readyleach Green at Knotbury).[3]
