Biography

William was born in 1845. He married Mary Good 3 January 1869 in Davis, Iowa.[1]He passed away in 1917.[2]

1870, Wyacondah Township, Davis, Iowa,[5] living with wife and child, plus a "James Dunham, works on farm."

1895, Wayne, Iowa,[8] living with family.
1900, Jackson Township, Wayne, Iowa,[9] living with family.
1910, Jackson, Wayne, Iowa,[10] living with wife, youngest son and hired hand.

Research Note

Based on several census records, it seems that William and Mary moved to Colorado sometime between 1910 and 1919.

1920:[12] John Leslie Slack and family are in West Holyoke, Phillips, Colorado
1920:[13] Mary Slack is living next door to her son, John Leslie Slack
