Nancy A Slack, age 40, spinster, married George M Knowles (47, widow) in East Mtn, Colchester, Nova Scotia on 11 Jul 1895. She was the daughter of Jacob and Mary. He was the son of Asa and Lana^[1][2].

Nancy passed away in 1929^[4]. She was the daughter of Jacob Slack and [Sarah ... ?], born in 1854. She was a resident of Scotch Village, and died of angina pectoris.

Nancy was buried in Scotch Village Century Cemetery, Scotch Village, Hants. Her tombstone reads "George M Knowles born Jan 31, 1846, died Dec 1, 1916. his third wife Nancy A Slack, born Feb 4, 1855 died Nov 29, 1929^[5]."
