Biography

Cecil William Slade was born in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire in 1883. He was the son of William Slade and his wife Lizzie. His birth was registered in Amersham, Buckinghamshire in the fourth quarter of 1883[1].

At the time of the 1891 England and Wales census, William, Lizzie, and Cecil Slade were living in Chalfont St Giles, along with Milton C. Lofty, who was listed as "Brothr"[2].

Cecil married Margaret Lillian Hill. Their marriage was registered in Amersham, Buckinghamshire in the third quarter of 1908[3].
