Biography

Paul Slater was born October 24, 1905 in Green Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, a son of Harry Franklin and Vernie Learn Slater. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post 222 in Clymer. He married the former Gertrude Keith and had two sons, John and George. He passed away on April 18, 1974 at his home in Clymer, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Interment is in Pine Flats Cemetery.
