Biography
Mary Slater was the daughter of Thomas Slater (~1751–1817) and Hannah Saint (<1760– ).
Mary emigrated to Rhode Island, United States, to join her uncles Samuel Slater (1768-1835) and John Slater (1776-1843).
Mary married Joseph Bucklin on 22 February 1816 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.[1]
Mary Bucklin of Providence, America, was named in the will of her father on 1 September 1817.[2]
In the 1850 census Mary (age 58) was in Providence, Rhode Island.[3]
Mary Bucklin, daughter of Thomas Slater, died (age 73) on 19 May 1865 in Providence, Rhode Island.[4]
She is buried at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, Rhode Island.[5]
