Biography

Robert S Slaton, son of James Oliver Perry Slaten and Sarah E. (Graddy) Slaten, was born 6 September 1859 in White Plains, Hopkins County, Kentucky. His middle given name beginning with "S" is unclear, see Research Notes.

On 27 November 1884, in Hopkins County, he married Sallie Dixie Graddy, daughter of Halstead Jackson Graddy and Zerelda (Davis) Graddy.

He died 21 June 1931, in Madisonville, Hopkins, Kentucky ^[1] and Robert S. Slaton was buried in Old Salem Cemetery, Mortons Gap. Hopkins County, KY. Find A Grave: Memorial #96041379.^[2]
