Biography

Margaret arrived in the colony as an assisted immigrant from Ireland aboard the ship 'Sirocco' which arrived in the colony 28 Jan 1865. The ship's indent records: Margaret Slattery aged 18 general servant native place: Piercetown Tipperary Ireland parents: Thomas Slattery and Ann both RC 3 uncles in colony. Michael Maher Twofold Bay.

Widow of the late Joseph Bradwell and mother of Agnes, Vincent, Hannah, Joseph, (deceased ), Walter (killed In action), John, Mary and Nellie.[1]
