On 23 January 1942, Cecil married Lillian Mary "Peg" Collins in Canowindra, New South Wales.[2]
Cecil passed away on 20 February 2004 in Forbes, New South Wales, aged 81. He was buried in Canowindra Cemetery, Canowindra, Cabonne Shire, New South Wales.[3]
