Biography
Frances was born in 1817 in Georgia. Her parents were John Slaughter and Elizabeth Sayers.
She married Nathan Lane Atkinson on 28 Nov 1834 in Greene County, Georgia.[1] In 1850, they were living in Troup County, Georgia.[2] They had five children in the home - Mary, Sarah, Janey, Lucretia, and Charity. The family was still in Troup County, Georgia, in 1860[3] and 1870.[4]
Frances passed away in 1895. Burial was in the Pinewood Cemetery in West Point, Troup County, Georgia.[5]
She and Nathan were mentioned in the death record of their daughter, America, in 1936.[6]
