Wife of Joseph Platter, married Jan 21 1841 in Ross County, Ohio.
Joseph and Jane lived on the old homestead of his father's, Christian Platter, near Bainbridge all his life. They were a very genial hospitable couple, living in quiet ease and contentment into their older years.
Together they had four children but only one lived out of infancy, that being Charles C Platter. But he too died at a young age of 18 during the Civil War.
They had the following Children (all connected to her Find a Grave site) :
Mary E Platter died in infancy, Carey A Platter died in infancy, James H Platter died in infancy, Charles C Platter died at age 18 Civil War
