I was born on Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. My father served in the air force for 24 years. I was lucky enough to travel abroad with him while he served in Incirlik, Turkey, and Bitburg, Germany. We travelled as much as we could every weekend. Including Bangkok, Thailand. My mother is from Thailand. We drove from Turkey, through Greece, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria, and finally Germany. My father retired in 1992, and we moved back to the United States to his hometown of Maple Heights, Ohio.
